 The Family Resource Centre provides a wide variety of services. From Emergency Relief, Food Care and Playgroups to Internet Café and Christmas Hampers.
The centre offers a great social environment. The activities like the Internet drop in Café allows people to have access to the internet while having a cuppa. It’s a great setting for surfing the net or doing school research. Access time is limited contact Cindy for more information.
We have a range of fun outdoor equipment for children to play with. The age groups we cater to is 1-5 year olds. Parents can socialise and talk to other parents while the children play. This is a great program for the whole family. Lunch is provided. Contact Joanne for more information.
We offer Family Carnival days all year round. Jumping castles and face painting and lots of games for the whole family. Keep your eyes on our Calendar for information and dates.
The Family Resource Centre focuses on comprehensive services to promote and strengthen families in need. Emergency relief helps with tempoary assistance. We offer food hampers, clothing, and assistance in paying electricity, gas, water and Telstra phone bills. Call and talk to our friendly team for an appointment or more information.
Food Care services is great for families needing to stretch their budget for the groceries. You can purchase a $50 hamper for only $30 each month. Items may vary monthly, but you can guarantee a great hamper made with foods from the five essential food groups. For bookings contact Food Care facilitator Sandy or George.
The Family Resource Centre, Sadleir creates opportunities for families to strengthen parenting skills, utilise support networks, and contribute to the development of healthy, viable communities.
