Financial literacy is the ability to understand finance. More specifically, it refers to the set of skills and knowledge that allows an individual to make informed and effective decisions through their understanding of finances.
I have had the pleasure to visit Lurnea High School to interact with a class of E.S.L students. We have been talking about money, budgeting and the key aspects of saving. And how when used together we make our money work for us!
It has been a great experience to see the students interacting together and learning about something as productive as how to effectively use money. And it truly makes a difference to see them implementing the skills learned from this workshop and to know that these skill sets will help them throughout there lives.
