With Christmas fast approaching we have to remember to slow down, take a breath, and enjoy the festive season that is Christmas.
Here at Inspire Community Services, we are now approaching one of our busiest times of the year with the making of our Christmas hampers and the day of celebration when we can give a gift of joy to the people who most need Christmas happiness in our community.
Last year we made and distributed 1,410 Christmas hampers to the people in our community. Those who received one were the most appreciative and happy people to be around. This year we are aiming for 1,500 or more hampers to make and distribute again to our community.
You can be a big part of helping our community in one of following three ways:
1. Donation of goods for the Christmas hampers items including Christmas Cakes/puddings, Coffee, Milo, Tea, Long life Milk, Custard, Sugar, Biscuits, Jelly, Cordial/Juice, gifts that are appropriate for children under 14 years of age.
2. Sponsor a Christmas Hamper (or a few) for $35.00 each hamper.
3. Donate money by going to the Inspire Community Website and clicking on the “Donate’ icon.
Our Christmas hampers give away day celebration this year will be held on the 9th December, 2011 at our Sadlier site 52-54 Celebration Road, Sadlier NSW 2168. If you know of anybody who could use any extra cheer this Christmas or you find yourself in need of the extra help please contact our Sadlier office on 02 8873 5788 before the 30th November, 2011.
